Just curious if there were any changes from when you had 2.9.3 available for download here prior to pushing it to the repository. I did a manual upgrade then and didn’t know if I should go ahead and do it again.
The changes made were for how the behavior of the .txt and .htm files are uploaded to comics, since the time you last updated, so no – you shouldn’t have to update unless you want to.
Hey, for some reason my site stopped displaying the comic images after upgrading. Is there any way I can fix this?
Have you tried setting the comic and blog post categories again in the ComicPress Manager?
I assume I did something wrong: I just did the automatic ComicPress upgrade and suddenly my font choice is defaulting to Arial (ugh) and my right sidebar is too wide?
Now I can’t find where to fix these … Any tips?
Well Arial is what the font style has been for a very long time as a base.. you can change both of those things in the appearance -> editor -> style.css
Hi, Frumph!
I´m new to Comicpress, but we seem to be getting along pretty well 😀
I´m just starting, and I was wondering if it´s possible having 2 comics on the same web. I mean the following:
-Main page > Comic in english,
-other page with link in the navigation bar > comic in spanish.
I´d like to update them at the same time, but in a paralell fashion. So people can select the language they prefer, but not having the continuity feel affected (Wouldn´t look that cool if they have to see both versions of the comic when they want to read the next or previous page :S )
Could this be done?
Just in case, this is my page so far: http://fufucomic.com.ar/2011/06/24/001-i-want-to-break-free/
(as I´ve said, I´ve just started!)
(by the way, your tutorial helped me a lot, this couldn´t be done without it!)
Thank you so much!!
Probably better to have put in the forums, but the clear answer is .. no, ComicPress is designed for a single post per day.
Oh, I see.
Thank you!
I just updated both WordPress and ComicPress to the latest versions, and now the Quick ComicPress widget (if widget is the word I want) is gone from my dashboard. What happened to it, and can I get it back?
ComicPress Manager’s latest version has that issue and is being looked into.
Hey, I’m having the same problem as Al above. All of my old posts have lost their comic. New posts show the comic just fine.
I’ve tried:
* Uninstalling the child theme and re-installing
* Changing the category on old posts
* Rebuilding the thumbnails
* Deleting and re-uploading the images
I’m at a loss for what to do next.
1) Make sure your comicpress manager has the proper blog and comic primary categories set.
2) IF and only IF it still doesn’t properly display, go to the appearance -> comicpress options and hit the reset options button, resetting all of your comicpress theme options and see if that fixes it.
Hello. I’ve upgraded recently, and my whole site reset. I’m trying to rebuild it, but have come up against two annoying problems.
1: My comics won’t display
2: I can’t get a white content-wrapper to show up
I’ve tried resetting my comicpress theme options, deactivating all plugins and setting the comic and blog post categories again. Nothing has worked.
Sent you an email Raven.
