I added two more child themes for Easel. They’re available in the forum’s http://forum.frumph.net/viewforum.php?f=19
The first one is “Boxed for Easel” this child theme is an upgrade to Boxed for ComicPress
The next one is “Easel – Comic Easel” this child theme is basically the http://comiceasel.com website look. This child theme changes the width of the 2 column layouts up to 920px;

Changed header.php title code to use a filter
modified a ton of CSS to clean it up
tested comments.php extensively and made some minor code changes
added pagenav jumper in the pagination
removed custom post type from the titles in the archive pages
added additional .menu-container for the menubar
checks for post types were removed in the displaypost.php – it’s now up to the user to remove them via CSS or code
