Last Nights dream was like this, it went like a ‘feel good’ movie.

Me, as myself

My Son as himself. (Ethan)  13 years old.

Some rich guy (we’ll call him Rich for short) close friend who I didn’t talk to for years since he became famous, rich and a celebrity.

Rich’s son.  Call him Rich Jr. 7 years old.

Scene was mainly in this rich guy’s huge apartment in manhattan that spanned the entire floor of the building with pool and more.”

My life at this time (and it is) is very lonely, my son Ethan pretty much does his own thing nowadays and I sit a lot of the time in front of the computer, no relationships so it’s sort of sad.

Basically I get informed via a letter that my friend Rich had passed away from some serious illness and left me a huge load of money and his estate.   Ethan and I are jazzed and when I get there to the lawyers office I am informed that I have also been named as the soul caretaker for his Son.

So I go and get his son from some child-welfare run down house in the burbs.  The boy is white-blond haired and shy as heck, doesn’t say a word throughout the whole thing.  Ethan being cordial as ever sitting watching a movie on his video player.

On the drive to the apartment-mansion with bags in hand the three of us (ethan and Rich Jr. in backseat watching the movie together) .. EJ has that effect on people, it’s like an instant be-comfortable with I guess.

We enter the darkened apartment, Rich Jr. the young boy still at the door doesn’t want to come into the house.

— lotsa unknown stuff at this point cause well it was a dream.

But a few of the scenes in my dream were me playing with Rich Jr. spending a lot of time with him, like I used to with EJ, until EJ got older and all of that father-son hanging out stuff disappeared.  Needless to say EJ was feeling left out and was sojourned and withdrew to his own little world.

Anyways, during this time of unknown dream stuff I break out of my loneliness shell and Ethan getting further into his own world.

Some people, I think they were Rich Jr’s relatives on the mom’s side started fighting for Rich Jr. back,   apparently it was a huge ordeal.

Some stuff happened – Unknown  and Ethan does some stuff to prove himself to be the most awesome big brother ever. During this whole entire time Rich Jr (the 7 year old orphaned(?)) son of the long time ago friend still hasn’t spoken a word.

Some random stuff happened and apparently during a crucial moment where Ethan didn’t ever show up to the court case custody battle with the estranged relatives Ethan walks into the courtroom in suit and tie call cleaned up (which is a feat, I tell ya).   Apparently some (teacher? who was a hotty) who was trying to help with Rich Jr, convinced him it was the right thing to do.

Getting ahead of myself, apparently the biggest argument that was after the time I had him that he didn’t show signs of improvement because he still didn’t talk again.

However, after Ethan walks into the courtroom the boy yells “Ethan!” and runs up to his older brother giving him a hug.   Crowd goes silent, judge has a small tear.

and apparently we lived happily ever after as a family.

Somewhere in there, I learned how to reconnect with EJ to have us spend more time together etc.,  if it were a movie that teacher? helper would have been a love interest for me, woot, she was a hottie.
