Biography: We don't know much about the girl named Lynn. Her ability seems to be that she appears when someone is murdered – and dies in his or her place. The original Eternal Victim was cursed by the Nordic gods as a newly-born child. During the centuries she learned how to deal with this curse. Until one day - 40 years ago - she disappeared without a trace. Up to this point it remains unanswered if there is a connection between Lynn and the first Eternal Victim. All we know is that Lynn is not capable of controlling her "gift", yet...

Actress: "Cato" Rzeptka
Little is known about "Cato" Rzeptka, the actress of Lynn – and we will keep it this way.
Biography: Emma is a girl of many layers. At first glance she may seem like a normal girl from New York, devoted to her studies and friends in a middle-of-nowhere Maine college. 5 minutes reveals that this devotion is actually just the tip of a horrifyingly neurotic iceburg that consumes everything from worrying about her studies, to accidentally stringing along her neighbor romantically, to insanely far fetched tangents that only she truly expects to happen. She smokes, she's anything but modest, and there''s nothing she loves more than a good 80's Slasher movie.

Author: Brandon "Dubzor" Morgan
Having run the comic and site for 2 years, Brandon has managed to hone his already prominent skills in graphics and design. Oddly enough, his career is based on A/V Tech work at the nations leading Maritime Museum. Even though he doesn't have much time to work on the comics at home AND have a social life, he loves nothing more than to see the stories unfold on his computer screen while his massive Transformer Collection looks on from display cases and assorted positions around his desk area.
Biography: Rose is the resident fashionista and diva of the Assorted NUTS! gang. Like any other rich heiress, she likes fashion, shopping and the finer things in life. She aspires to be a philanthropist like her mother and grandmother while upholding the family motto of "Elegance, Hardwork, Justice and Gorgeousness". Although she may seem like an applicant for a candidacy for sainthood, she has been known to throw incredible hissy fits and intense rages. Heidrian, the resident brat, finds her amusing and annoys her most of the time so he's usually on the receiving end of the rage. Aside from shopping she enjoys gardening, helping out with charitable organizations, bowling and playing the viola. As the second oldest female in the Mayflower Manor, she fills the role of the big sister especially towards Dianne, the youngest of the group.

Hiding Menubar links from being viewed – wp_list_pages
by Phil (Frumph) on July 19th, 2009Someone on twitter was asking how to 'hide' menubar items from being displayed to the end user, but still exist. This can be done with various plugins on the WordPress repository. Going to show you how to do it with CSS.
Well this is how it works, the wp_list_pages() function generates the links that are shown in your menubar, with a side-effect of adding CSS class statements.
If you view' your source code (view-source) while looking at your site you will see the 'end result' output of your website you can see what classes are created for each menu item.
For example, here at frumph.net if you view the source, by right-clicking the screen then choosing view-source you will see that the "archive" link shows that there is
<li class="page-item page-item-3">
.. that class page-item-3 is specific and individual for that archive link.
If I wanted to hide the archive link from being viewed in the menubar I just need to do a little CSS.
.page-item-3 {
display:none;
}
Creating a class in your stylesheet of the name you found for that menu item will let you do what you want with it. Adding display:none; to the class in the css will make it 'not visible' to be seen in a browser.

WordPress has a nifty little feature that you can specify a specific category alone to show the feeds with.
(if you're using pretty permalinks)
for example, johnn saturn's normal feed is: http://johnnysaturn.com/feed/ - that will display the comics, the blogs and everything it can in one big open feed.
However if you want to see *just* his comic feed it would be: http://johnnysaturn.com/category/comics/feed/
That will display the feed for *just* the comics category. Give it a try on your site, like: http:// yoursite.com / category / <comicscategoryname> / feed /
My feed for Anomaly comic : http://anomaly.frumph.net/category/webcomic/feed/
I use the "webcomic" category for the comics so ^ putting that in will show just the category webcomic feed.
This works best with pretty permalinks btw. Best permalink setting is /%category%/%postname%/ if you don't have that as the permalink then change it, cause google and yahoo and other engines *hate* the permalinks that look like dates.

While working on upgrading another author's site this morning I stumbled across a .. neat feature of wp_list_pages.
Gordie was chosen by Dr. Ardra Renelsior to the the provider of "paternal materials" for her grand experiment, because of his rather high I.Q. However, he mostly got the job because he was the only one to answer Ardra''s personal ad.
Ardra only had one date with Gordie, but used hypnosis to convince him to fill a vial with the aforementioned "materials". Thus, he unwittingly became the biological father of Eileen & Lenore.
Soon after this, Gordie began dating longtime friend Della Gurwick, who runs a flower shop next to Gordie's newsstand. Gordie & Della married a couple years later.
After not seeing Ardra for around seven years, Gordie was shocked to see her at his door one day. She showed up because Eileen & Lenore had been asking questions about their father, whom she thought they should meet. Finding out that he was a dad came as quite a shock, but Gordie has taken to fatherhood rather well, despite the fact that he doesn't see his daughters very often.
Gordie has a very easy-going disposition, and not much bothers him. He's one of the few people the girls respect. Eileen appreciates the fact that Gordie is one of the few sincerely nice people in the world, and Lenore likes the fact that Gordie shares her love of squid ink as a condiment.

Artist: Trevor V. Adams
TREVOR V. ADAMS lived a pretty simple life. When he was a little kid, he loved paper and drawing. It kind of ran in the family with his brother and sister. He use to have a very active imagination and made sound effects and acted out the scenes while he drew, which made him kind of an odd man out. Eventually he really started taking an interest in art especially in cartooning.
Trevor’s parents signed him up for the Art Instruction School, where they would send him lessons and then he had to mail them back to be graded. That didn’t last long but he did learn a little bit from the experience. In high school he drew the school comic, Tyres, based on a boy his niece use to date and the hi-jinx of high school life.
Trevor went straight from high school to the Art Institute of Atlanta, originally majoring in Computer Animation and Multimedia. After an incident with the school and staffing for the program he switched my major to Graphic Design, since it was closer to the field he wanted to be in anyway. Trevor took a break from that and started working on LeastICouldDo.com, a webcomic by Ryan Sohmer. Trevor liked the comic but it just didn’t fit me personally so he moved on find ArdraComic.com, which fit him perfectly because he liked the subject and the positive message they the webcomic is trying to convey. With the help of the creator/writer Jason Dunstan and editor Fesworks, he continues to bring that message to all the readers.
